-Due to personal reasons, Sigrid has had to resign from office, so the Contingency Deputy Seneschal and the Events Deputy positions are open again.
-I’ve been dealing with a lot of personal and family priorities, so this month hasn’t been very SCA focused. I didn’t think I’d be able to attend Champions, but that’s been worked out, so I’ll see you on Saturday. Unfortunately, I may not be able to be at Banner War, or at least not for all of it, so we’ll need to find another Seneschal in the area to help out.
-There has been some movement on background checks so we can get more folk to help youth activities and YAC.
-Banner War insurance should be coming through this week, and we should be getting a refund of $25 since we got the request in before the change in cost.

*Social Media: HL Katla Mani – I created two events for the Barony but was unable to add the autocrats as co-hosts so I have been helping with updating or adding posts as necessary. I also created a post to remind people we have a twitter and a discord server too.

-Boars Hunt (Lady Sigrid Hrafnsdottir, HL Landinn de Marest, and day-of HL Sabina di Zorzi) – June 2-4
Broke even minus the extra biffies needed due to bathrooms being closed. (We are working with them for a reimbursement of those charges). All the bathrooms are currently functional, should be OK for Banner War.
-Aquaterra Champions (Lady Camilla Valerian and Lady Sophia Aland) – August 5
-Banner War (Lady Jaida al-SaHraa) – September 8-10. Planning meetings on Sundays. Rapier: Don Dyryke – do we have any scenarios to use for advertising? Thrown weapons?
Bardic: can we do another Vox Off, poetry class; A & S hoping to have a banner (adult) banner class. Still working on Culinary. Has gate covered.

-Ursulmas 2024 (HL Samira al Wadi and HL Loftr Jolgeirsson) – January 26-28 ; Has already asked for pre-reg/paypal. We have 4 different deputies. If you are doing ANYTHING with the bleachers talk to Camilla. Arena – Loftr. Outside the arena (ie archery) see Rachel. Anything else see Samira. Next Wed at the first Ursulmas planning meeting is at Sr. Sergios. 7 PM more info to impart then. 2nd Wednesday of each month. Desperately need QR codes and pages to put them on. (Landinn will talk to Samira re: QR codes when she gets back if she has not found anyone else.)
