-We have a new Youth Armored Combat officer, Alanna Von de Huga!
-Rollo stepped down from the Warlord for personal reasons, but he is officially a Jr. marshal and is still available to help with Heavy Fight practices.
-Still having trouble connecting with the other baronies regarding the Tri-baronial Feast, so asked Their Excellencies to help.
-We need bids for all events, from Boars Hunt forward!
-Masonic Park has agreed to the same pricing as last year, but I am still waiting on a final bid for the portable toilets before we’ll know the budget for that location for this year.
-Ursulmas prices went up a lot this year, and they won’t give us the same deal next year, so those prices will be even higher. We need to think outside the box for next year’s plan, so please come to us with any ideas. It’s such a large event that we need to start that process now, especially if somebody wants to find another site or change anything drastic, so if anyone is open to running that event, please come talk to us for details.

It has come time for our studious members of the Populace, who have stood as part of our Financial Committee for more than a year now, to pass their voting prowess onto 2 other members of our fair Barony. If you are interested in what this entails, please contact me either through my Baronial email (aquaterra.exchequer@antir.org), or you can reach me through FB Messenger. (Mka Whitney Fikes).
The Populace Members of the Financial Committee are generally members who are willing to join us for our monthly business meetings, and if there are financial decisions that come up that need approval from the committee, they would cast their votes on behalf of the Barony. While not an extensive load, it is an important position. The great thing is, you don’t need to have any prior experience with financials, just a willingness to learn and join us in taking care of our great Barony.

-The Newcomers meeting had a good turn out. We had 3 Newcomers that seemed to have a good time at Ursulmas and are looking forward to pursuing SCA activities in the future.
-I have been going to the Hillcrest Park Heavy Armored Combat practice and have had success with connecting park goers, specifically with a couple of families who are interested in the YAC program. Pixie was there last practice and we were able to get one young child in loaner armor.
-We brought out one of the Heavy Armored Combat signs that was used at Ursulmas and it seemed to be helpful. We had a group of teens and a few adults that stopped to read it and asked questions.
-Kingdom Chatelaine and they are looking for a Regional Education Deputy to teach the Newcomers Academy program in the Western region.
-We would like to coordinate mock tournaments at public parks going forward. I feel like these could serve as both small demos for the public but also a way to help practice combat formats for new fighters, lists personnel, marshals and voice heralds.
-Lake Stevens would like some volunteers for their “Go Viking” event
-String instruments for la conner “Guiter festival” same weekend as May Crown
