Ursulwyck Medieval Faire

Hearken, noble lords and ladies! The illustrious Barony of Aquaterra summons you to the grand Ursulwyck Medieval Faire, a festivity open to all on the 28th of February, 2026! Prepare to be awestruck as valiant knights, and those vying for knighthood, clash in exhilarating Championship tournaments! Revel in a myriad of engaging youth activities! Embark on a quest through the bustling Marketplace, overflowing with exquisite treasures of all kinds. Found at the Skagit County Fairgrounds in Mt Vernon, Washington, this gathering is a feast for the senses!

Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of history as you witness captivating displays and demonstrations that bring the Middle Ages to life. From the spirited competitions of armored warriors and agile fencers to the enthusiastic performances by entertainers and musicians, there is no shortage of adventure. Youth are invited to learn about our Youth Armored Combat program, where they will learn the noble arts of chivalry and experience the thrill of friendly competition.

As the day comes to a close, gather for a grand Royal Court, where the very essence of our vibrant community unfolds before your eyes, steeped in medieval splendor. This event is a tapestry woven for all ages, where each guest has the chance to discover new interests and ignite passions that may guide their journey through time. Join us and let the spirit of Ursulwyck awaken the knightly heart within you!

Ursulwyck Medieval Faire is an event hosted by the Barony of Aquaterra, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA Inc.).  This event is open to the public as a demo of the SCA experience, and hopes to be your doorway to joining us year-round!

Entry Rates

Adult (18+) = * $25
Youth (13-17) = ** $15
Children (12 and under) ** Free

* Adult SCA Members will receive a $10 member discount off the cost listed above.

** Youth and Children must either be accompanied by parent/guardian or you may bring any minor that is not your own, but their parent or guardian must complete both of the SCA Inc. required forms (below) prior to your arrival and send one copy of a photo ID for the minor’s legal guardian, and that ID must include the guardian’s signature. Please read the form for details.

Minor Consent form – Need 1 signed copy

• Medical Authorization for Minors – Need 3 signed copies – US Citizens form or Canadian Citizens form

• One copy of a photo ID for the minor’s legal guardian that includes the guardian’s signature on the ID.
